So, why does most reproduction Rhodesian camo look off?
Well, here’s the reason. There are some very significant and highly visible parts on most reproduction patterns that were never printed on the real fabric.
These patterns shown full width of the fabric roll, are from the left:
1) Chinese printed 500 denier Cordura.
2) Chinese polycotton
3) What Price Glory 100% cotton drill
4) David Whitehead Textiles original Rhodesian camo, 100% cotton drill….. and yes, that’s how wide the fabric roll was compared to the modern ones.
