Special Forces Museum (Speskop)

Postby Wez » Sun Mar 16, 2014 10:33 pm

Hey guys,

So I was fortunate enough to go through to the Special Forces Museum whereby I was able to see a lot of the actual items that were used in the Book "Recce". It has the history of the Recces/Special Forces from creation to the end of the Bushwar and includes tributes to the Selous Scouts and C- Squadron SAS.

Here is the link for the pics on photobucket, I can't add them to the post because they are to big.

Hope you guys like it

Thanks for posting this. Its always been a dream to go there but its not open to the general public and I live in Cape town, so distance is also an issue!

Hi Ferdie, the museum is open to the general public you just have to make arrangements with the caretaker. He normally prefers after 1600 visits.

There is a new museum being built by the Special Forces Association (previously known as the Special Forces League). I will let you know when it is up and running.
